MAC Cosmetics is bottling Rihanna’s beauty for the masses. On her 25th birthday, the superstar announced her first collaboration with the makeup powerhouse, revealing cutesy packaging personally created by RiRi.
The first release from RiRi Hearts MAC is a lipstick named RiRi Woo, affectionately playing off of the MAC classic, Ruby Woo. Rihanna is known for her vampy, dark pucker and the shade is a deliciously deep chocolate plum. Remarking on the new venture, she told Women’s Wear Daily, “Working with MAC, it’s difficult to get a red lipstick that beats Ruby Woo, because it works on every skin tone. I had so many different samples to choose from and so many different colors underneath — blue, yellow, orange and pink bases. And I got to pick one that worked, and I tried it on all my friends to make sure it worked on all of our skin tones.”
The lipstick will be available at a MAC pop-up shop on May 4th and 5th.

Chocolate fanatics can pay homage to their favorite decadent sweets and still be merciful to their waistlines. Consider a makeup palate of rich browns and savory cocoas. Check out our curlBOX tips to incorporating some of our top browns. Mix and match!
COFFEE: Depending on your shade, brown lipstick rides the line between goth and mother nature. Skip both and get a glam look by saturating your face in subtle bronzes with, perhaps, a winged-tip eye in a deep black.
MUD: Contour your crease with a matte shadow in a chocolate tone. Just a gentle sweep instantly adds definition. Use a small eyeshadow brush for the most even application.
Whether it’s an understated and unexpected glimpse of burgundy when you turn your head, or a full out look-at-me turquoise everyone will notice, we’re feeling colored mascaras for fall.
