MY Life: 4 Foods for Productivity

We hope the #nosleepinchallenge has been awesome so far! Check out this message from Myleik on the four breakfast foods that help her stay alert and inspired!

I have to say that watching everyone get up this week being productive has inspired me even more!  I’ve enjoyed waking up early just to see what you’re doing.  One of the things that I’ve noticed many of you have had time to do is eat breakfast!  How cool is that?  Not only that, but the breakfast has been healthy.  We all know the benefits of breakfast but if you don’t, check this article out: Health Benefits Of Breakfast: 7 Reasons Not To Skip Your Morning Meal. 

Since we’re on the breakfast topic … These are my four favorite breakfast options (all from my instagram):

1.  My SUPER EASY Green Smoothie

Ingredients: 2 cups of frozen mangoes, blueberries, strawberries | fill the rest of the blender to the top with spinach | add 1 cup of water (more if you need it) | blend and sip!

2.  My SUPER FANCY Sweet Potato
Ingredients:  bake sweet potato | on a cookie sheet bake a cup of oatmeal, handful of crushed almonds, spray with a bit of olive oil, pour a little maple agave syrup and bake until crisp.  Eat!

3. My NEW FAVORITE Juice
Ingredients: A bunch of kale, 4 granny smith apples, 1 cucumber, 3 oranges.  YUM CITY!

4. My SUPER GOOD Oatmeal
Ingredients: Oatmeal (from Trader Joes), brown sugar, bananas, almonds
