Tips to a Stress-Relieving Saturday

Did you lose your zen this week? Get it back today with these stress-relieving activities.

Burn a lavender candle. Lavender, known for its soothing scent, helps sedate a weary mind and lulls you to sleep. You can also add a few drops of lavender essential oil to your lotion.

Take a sea salt detox bath. A week of stressing will leave your body full of toxins that can cause sickness. No bueno. A twenty minute soak in a hot tub full of dead sea salt will help pull impurities from your body and you’ll be so relaxed afterwards, you’ll literally feel intoxicated.

Stretch it out. We often feel physically and emotionally bound up because we actually are. Stretching for at least ten minutes allows more oxygen to flow to your vital organs and you’ll feel more refreshed.

Take a Melatonin. If you’re seriously frazzled, pop this calming supplement, known for helping you get a more restful sleep. Half a pill will help do the trick.
